1) Aria's full name (Arianna Valentine) is actually wrong. Only her mother is aware of this, being she made it that way and never told anyone. Her mother didn't want anyone tracing the man who she had a one night stand with back to her, which would have been a problem had their child kept said man's last name. So she tore up her only physical copy of Aria's birth certificate and never breathed a word about the subject again. Granted, her current last name isn't completely wrong; it is her mother's last name, albeit not her true last name, either LOL.

2) Aria had moved five times during the portion of her life with her mother. She had never read all that much into it, her mom would go off on a paranoid rant and then they'd be whisked away to a different small town within the span of a week. It was never a problem, seeing as she never was one to do the friend thing.

3) Her mom suffered from bipolar disorder, and was deeply mistrustful of the people around her and society as a whole. Paranoid and easily irritated when deep into her disorder, she often resorted to both mental and physical abuse which most frequently was targeted at Aria since she was both the easiest and nearest to lash out at. It was presumed that she may have carried an anxiety disorder as well, since her manic and depressive swings came fast and hard, and often lasted weeks. There is a scar on Aria's eyebrow from a particularly nasty argument between her and her mother.

4) Baby Aria's natural eye color was a deep brown. Her w00f eyes didn't settle in until she was about 15, although her eyes had been getting noticeably lighter during the year leading up to it. Now she has light golden yellow eyes which, upon certain moods or feelings, reflect different amounts of light. She doesn't necessarily hate her eyes now, but it gets hard not to attract attention that she'd much rather not receive.

5) She can't control her shift. That's not to say that all werewolves like her can't; quite on the contrary, most can. Especially those born in packs who have learned how to control and utilize it their entire lives. Heck, she doesn't even like being a werewolf in the first place, and often does her best to ignore or block any part of it. Anxiety or panic is usually a trigger, however, and at that point the shift is forced to finish.

6) She is of French, Italian, and Mexican descent. Momma's French, father's Italian and Mexican. 

7) Her true last name (father's) means dainty, delightful, and joy. c:

8) She's probably the only werewolf in history that likes vampires more than werewolves LOL. And books more than vampires.
